Why Slave Lake?
Well, I used to live there and if you like nature then this is the place to be.
Sports
Lets see, sports in Slave… If you’re talking recreational sports then you name it they have it. As for “Pro Teams” the closest thing they have is their Junior B hockey team the Wolves. If you like to see fights then this is the team to watch. I would show you their logo but I have never seen it in digital format.

Winter In Jasper
In addition to incredible skiing, winter visitors to Jasper National Park can enjoy outdoor ice skating, the Maligne Canyon “Crawl”, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, winter picnics, observing wildlife, or cozying up to a roaring fire. For more outdoor winter adventure, snowmobiling, heli-skiing, and heli-snowshoeing can be found just a short drive outside the park.
